We practice what we preach. It’s important for us to experiment, develop new ways of working, explore ideas and emerging technologies, and most importantly to learn from each other. Recently we’ve been working on Diddly & Nibbler - they’re still in-house projects so we have to keep it a bit of secret, but you’ll be able to play with them soon.
We are a small, tight-knit team of designers, developers, and strategists who love building awesome stuff for web and mobile. We believe that design and development cannot be separated, that releasing early and often builds better products, and that 10 great features are better than 100 mediocre ones. We also believe in open source and are active in the Ruby on Rails and Interaction Design communities in New York. Oh, and we give everyone who walks into our office a rousing round of applause. Compelling, sustainable products evolve over time and our process has evolved too. We collaborate and iterate instead of waterfall and black-box. Discovery
Successful products require a deep understanding of your goals and the motivations of your audience. As we design and build, we research, analyze, learn, and make changes. Discovery is continuous and ongoing, not just a one-shot deal.

Planning is important. Based on what we know about your product's needs and our proposed solutions, we'll work with you to determine how your product will come to life and when it will launch. If changes come up, we will work with you to make the right decisions. This is where our focus on collaboration and communication shines.

Creation
We begin designing and developing as soon as we know enough to make an initial pass. You can call these early iterations prototypes, we think of them as the best way to communicate our work and to learn from it. This is an interactive process - you’ll guide and we create. In the end, you will have a product that’s perfectly crafted to your needs.

QA & Launch
While the product is being designed and developed, we test it using modern testing best practices including automated testing suites and continuous integration. This helps us make sure we're putting out the best quality product at any given moment. When it's ready to meet the world, we will create a launch strategy that is in line with your business goals.
